About Fishing Weather
What it is
Fishing Weather reads the forecast the way an experienced angler would before deciding whether to go. For the waters you choose, it organizes temperature, barometric pressure and its trend, wind and gusts, and rain into a single call — GO, MAYBE, or SKIP — along with the main reason, the main risk, and the day’s most promising window. You can read more about what goes into a call on the how it works page.
What it is not
Fishing Weather is decision support, not a catch guarantee. A GO read means the weather window looks worth your time — it does not promise fish, and it does not replace your own judgment about the water in front of you. Local knowledge, season, and the species you chase still matter. It is also not a source of official weather warnings; see the safety page for where those belong.
How it’s built
Fishing Weather is a small, independent product built app-first for iPhone, with a web preview you can use in the browser today. It is anonymous by design — no account, no sign-in — and the waters you save stay on your device. The full data story is in the privacy policy.
